Brakes are the only thing I didn't seem to need!
Update: Me sitting in the
Meineke Repair "STORE," from 1:30 to 6:15 p.m. today (where you get to go shopping for items you didn't really want) I arrived with a small bag of pretzels and a half a bottle of water after working steadily to get off early then stopping in to see about "my wonderful cars leaking tire" that turned out to have nail in it... I 'd rather been at Macy's STORE! I knew I needed an oil leak repaired which I did not have fixed...But did have that dirty air filter changed...I knew I needed my heater fixed because I am COLD while driving. Not a little cold, really cold. Cold on high, decent on low. Have you ever lived in Wisconsin and been warm on low? Nope. So I had them check that ...plus a funny singing noise near the windshield that was a broken rubber hose. I had that fixed along with my radiator flushed after I saw the junk inside looked like dried tan makeup that residues itself around the top of your makeup bottle.
Ewww.. as well as the coolant inside the radiator jug

looked like tan mud.....not so good! I did not have the thermostat fixed at another $400 or $500....Oh I forgot, I put my third
tyrod bar on drivers side at $250. That is only after he showed me the "Play Wobble Dance" my tire
was doing which was by all appearances dangerous. I knew my front end was wobbling about for some reason... so....I fixed that which automatically means front end alignment at $70. But I am still COLD driving home and
wha-
wha-
ing part of the way because I knew that to be warm would cost me more than a
blankie poo. Oh
wha some more, what the H is $500 anyway? FOOD
stupido... And still need another $500...didn't fix the windshield wiper either so there. I told they guy " I can still see!" They did laugh. Cute, they laughed. Oh good that makes it OK ? Nor did I repair the broken trunk latch and those do
hinkies that make the trunk close without SLAMMING at $300... or the window that is off its track on the drivers side at $100. It's only an issue at McDonald's or the Bank so I can live with it. Seems I am not the only one by far so they tell me at McDonald's and the Bank. Maybe I should marry a mechanic...no never mind, dentist and psychiatrist are still top of my list......Please don't tell me to be happy I had the money to fix it... I am. But Christmas might be leaner than I thought. But then again, maybe not..I am a positive "The Secret" thinker. S H U T U P!
