This is not me, its Beckham.....but that somewhat the haircut "Thomas" did to my beautiful 60 year old long wavy sexy hair three months ago. I took him photos of what I wanted! I told him I liked sexy wavy hair and used hot rollers! Told him I prefer the old fashioned cuts like Sophia Loren hair! He told me he understood totally but look what he did instead. It was and is horrible. My son told me I look like I have DOG EARS! I went back to the ANIU salon and showed the manager the photos I took to Thomas, and what we discussed and agreed upon. Like hello, who would cut hair like the opposite photo, if the woman said she used hot rollers. Oh My God! Duh. The manager of ANIU offered me products in exchange for my hideous appearance, but she had to check with the owners who refused me any assistance. They also refused to answer any of my phone calls of which I left several. Even the girls at the desk were appalled at my new fashion cut, (it wasn't nearly so clean as the photo I posted) after I showed them the photos I brought to Thomas. There wasn't an even hair on my head and still isn't three months later. When I go to the grocery store I now notice women all over my city that look absolutely ridiculous. They all have DOG EARS and they don't know what to do with them, so they pull them back in a little doggy ear pony tails, (America's latest Dog and Pony Show) with little hairs hanging in their/our eyes. Old ladies with bobbie pins holding hair off their faces....or headbands with little sprigs of hair sticking up and about. Well as you can tell I am beyond upset at Thomas and ANIU... besides the cash amount they charged for the uneven mess o' top my brows. On top of that I discover Thomas isn't even a master technician. All I can do is use headbands, little stubby ponytails, and let it grow again.....am I scared to have anyone cut it again. Oh Yes! I have dog ears because their ears didn't hear/or care. A "HAIR STYLIST" used to be somewhat of an artist...they would style a person's hair according to the shape of their face and bone structure etc. Not no more! Nope....It's the new American way...Corporate hair.... charge charge charge.... $160 for dog ears with no sense of style whatsoever. What a bunch of doggie doo I ran into at ANUI. Least it will grow. I mean its not like I lost a leg or a foot or anything......So I will be positive about this somehow. I will find the lemonade amongst the doggie "doo", all puns intended. Or I will find the glass full ......eeww of "doggie doo". OK forget it, no way to "lick" this one. Just let it go and grow and get over it.
This is SO funny, because I've had my hair cut at Anui twice, and I got THIS SAME haircut. I'm not kidding. Must be the special. And they are SO expensive. Does anyone know of a good place in Madison or Middleton to get a good haircut at a reasonable price??
